One thing I’ve noticed is the labeling of oneself as an “empath” to make an excuse for not having strong boundaries.⠀
⠀As I speak about on this past week’s @highestselfpodcast solocast on Spiritual Bypass, we are ALL empaths??⠀
⠀
Humans can feel what other humans feel.⠀
⠀
This is why we cry when we someone else crying or laugh when we see them laughing.⠀
⠀
Not being an empath means you’ve shut down your humanness.⠀
⠀
The more we open our hearts, the more we feel?⠀
⠀
When we go through a spiritual awakening, we open our hearts more and more, thus can feel all these things we were once numb to.⠀
⠀
This is a BEAUTIFUL thing.. and an invitation to learn how to operate from that point of openness, otherwise you’ll just shut down that heart of yours again.⠀
⠀
Have times where you let yourself feel all the feels, sob in your journal, cry with that rom-com.⠀
⠀
And also, learn how to master your own emotions so when you’re confronted with the sadness of the world, you don’t lose yourself in it??♀️⠀
⠀
Feeling other people’s feelings FOR them is not desirable because then you aren’t feeling YOUR feelings and then you actually can’t really HELP them.⠀
⠀
You are in YOUR body for a reason and THAT is your compass, your home, your anchor⠀
⠀
Have empathy for others, and also know what is yours and what is someone else’s??⠀ We need you IN the world, spreading your love and joy ?
⠀
