This is a short poem I wrote in Kauai on remembering who I am without the distraction of technology, achievements and to-do lists. How do you remember who you are?

Episode 181 – I Remember Who I Am with Sahara Rose
By Sahara Rose
Namaste. It’s Sahara Rose and welcome back to the “Highest Self” podcast. A place where we discuss what makes you your soul’s highest evolvement.
I remember who I am. When I toss off the hat that tells me how to think. When I take off the jacket that boxes my arms. Stripped from the pants that suppress my kundalini. Unhook the bra that withholds my femininity. Shed from all the layers society has clothed on me and allow my hidden thighs to be kissed by the sun. My caged feet remember they have toes. My constricted body remembers its flexibility. My focused eyes remember they can see past my screen. My over stimulated ears remember the sound of birds. My fixated mind remembers there’s more to life than Instagram. My endless soul remembers the untapped freedom that exists within me. I have come home.
I hope you enjoyed these words. Head over to my Instagram @iamsahararose to read more of my poetry. Namaste.
