Highest Self Podcast 099: Why Ayurveda is The Next Big Thing

Ayurveda is going to soon be as popular yoga (mark my words.) In this episode, I discuss WHY becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner has been so life-changing for me and how you can know if it’s right for you.

I am also offering $1,000 off scholarship Joyful Belly School of Ayurvedic Nutrition + Digestion, which is by-far the most extensive and research-based Ayurveda school I’ve come across. They offer two programs: the Masters of Digestion, which focuses on all of the digestive issues from IBS, Crohn’s, candida, leaky gut, et cetera from an Ayurvedic perspective.

This is an incredible program if you’re very interested in digestion and want to have a practice helping people with theirs, inclusive of the gut-brain connection, as our mood is a reflection of our digestive health.

Within 1 year, you will be a Certified Ayurvedic Digestion coach and can create your own practices, work with doctors or in wellness centers globally. Digestion is such a hot-topic right now and very few people know about it’s true roots from an Ayurvedic perspective.

The other is their two-year program Fundamentals of Natural Healing Ayurvedic Counselor Program, which trains you to become a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner (as I am) and work with a wide-range of clients, from nutrition to pregnancy to self-care, or begin your own wellness center!

Within 2 years, you’ll be able to work with any type of client, from those seeking to lose weight, balance anxiety, heal gut issues, address skin problems or launch your own Ayurvedic center, which is SO in demand right now.

As a free gift for all who sign up for Joyful Belly through me, I am additionally offering an exclusive webinar “How To Create a Thriving Business as an Ayurvedic Practitioner” where I teach you how to teach Ayurveda in a world where most have not heard of it, the types of businesses you can create with an Ayurvedic background such as launching your own tea or supplement company, creating a retreat center, online programs and more.

Episode 099 – Why Ayurveda is The Next Big Thing

By Sahara Rose

Namaste. It’s Sahara Rose, and welcome back to the “Highest Self” podcast. A place where we discuss what makes you your soul’s highest evolvement. I am here recording to you live from Bali, staying in the most magnificent resort I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I have a hut that’s on the mountains overlooking this cliff with my own infinity pool, and there’s koi ponds, and butterflies, and it’s literally straight up heaven up in here.

And as I was walking around, I was just thinking about how grateful I am, and thinking about where I was four years ago when I last came to Bali, and just how different my life was. So when I first came to Bali here four years ago, I was broke, and I was writing my first book called “Eat Right For Your Mind Body Type,” and that book was about infusing Ayurveda with modern nutritional science.

And though I was writing the book, I still had kind of some hesitation oftentimes. I wasn’t sure if I would ever get the book published, if anyone would ever read it, if I would ever be able to create an income for myself doing Ayurveda. If Ayurveda would, you know, even be recognized no one had ever heard about it, it was like way before it was cool. And I knew deep inside of me that I would be the one to make it cool, and that I would be the one to bring it out into the western world, which I’ve really done since.

But at the same time, I would often have doubt, fear, insecurity, anxiety, hesitation and kind of feeling like it’s not gonna work out. And if I were to be able to speak to myself four years ago, I would tell myself that becoming an Ayurvedic practitioner is straight up the best decision I could ever make. And that’s what I wanna talk about with you guys today. So before we get started, I want to share with you that first of all what Ayurveda is, I’ll share with you in a second.

But if you are interested in being an Ayurvedic practitioner, I am offering a $1,000 off discount, $1,000 off for Joyful Belly School of Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition. This is hands down the best Ayurveda school. I’ve become super close with the founder, John Immel. I’ve had him on this podcast, I’m gonna have him on again soon. And it is seriously outstanding, it is like the program of my dreams. It infuses Ayurveda with modern nutritional science, but goes really deep into one of their programs is about digestion. So everything about the gut, and IBS, and Crohn’s, and everything you want to know about digestion, how digestion’s connected to our mood, and our happiness, and how serotonin is in our gut lining, and like really breaks down digestion.

And then the other program is their two-year program, which is Ayurvedic counselor program. And that teaches you everything on just being an overall Ayurvedic counselor, which is what I am. So I teaches you about using herbs to heal people and how to assess their dosha, and their pulse, and their subdosha, and look at their tongues and really be an Ayurvedic practitioner.

And it also has a clinical aspect of it so you’re gonna be able to work with people, and it’s all online too. Both of these programs are online, so the clinical you’re going to be doing on Skype, and they will find you internships that you can start working at so you can begin your career as an Ayurvedic practitioner. So I highly, highly recommend both of them. I recommend the digestion one, which is one year. If you’re interested in the digestive system, you want to be a health coach, nutritionist, you’re really interested in the food aspect, digestive health is the next big thing in the health world. I mean it’s already started, it already is a big thing, so I recommend that one if you’re really interested in the gut biome, happiness and gut connection, et cetera.

And I recommend the practitioner, the two year program if you’re interested in working overall with different patients from different walks of life. Maybe you want to become a doula, an Ayurvedic doula, an Ayurvedic aesthetician, open up your own Ayurvedic retreat center, whatever it is, and that is a two year program.

So to learn more about that, just head over to my website iamsahararose.com, you’ll see right there if you just scroll down it says “become an Ayurvedic practitioner,” click on that, and in there I have so much information about it. And if you click on that link that’s in there—there’s a bunch of links in there—any of those links it’s gonna give you the $1,000 off. So you want to make sure you click on that.

And on top of that, I am throwing in a webinar, a private webinar that you’ll be on. I’ll be answering any of your questions about business coaching, about how to get your name out there, how to brand yourself, how to market yourself, social media strategy, how to get your first client, how to explain yourself to people, what are the options when you’re an Ayurvedic practitioner. All of the business stuff and I’ll be offering that free for both of the programs at the start of the program if you sign up through my link right there.

And if you have any questions on it, you could e-mail me. My e-mail is [email protected], and I will connect you directly to John, the founder of the institute, and he can answer any of your questions via e-mail, or he’ll even hop on the phone with you, he is like the nicest guy ever. If you haven’t listened to my podcast episode with him, I highly recommend listening to it. I’ll have the link for that in the show notes.

But he went to Harvard, was a mathematician, discovered Ayurveda, changed his life. So he’s seriously like a super genius, but really brings in the science and the wisdom and makes Ayurveda make sense, which is why I love the program so much. So check those both out on my website iamsahararose.com, click on “become an Ayurvedic practitioner,” you’ll find out about both of them, or e-mail me [email protected], and I could connect you with him.

So now I want to talk a little bit about why I think the best option you can make is to become an Ayurvedic practitioner, and why the world really needs more of them. Ayurveda is something that still most people have not heard of. You may live in a, you know, subgroup like in L.A., or New York, or you know, a small town where everyone is really health conscious, and people have heard about it.

But let’s be real, most Americans, 9.9 out of 10 have never heard of it before. So it’s still something that’s very new to the U.S., Western Europe, really most of the world except for India. And why it’s the best time to get into it now is because getting into it now you will be one of the pioneers really to bringing Ayurveda into the west. It’s something that people are just beginning to discover. And as yoga studios now are mainstream, any city you go to in the U.S. you’re gonna find a yoga studio on every street corner. And nine out of 10 Americans now has practiced or is aware of yoga.

So it’s amazing, yoga is a multi-billion dollar industry, and it’s the most—I mean it’s the biggest fitness, “fitness” phenomenon that has ever happened in American history. Like that is how big yoga is, every gym has yoga, everywhere you see there’s yoga. But Ayurveda is the next thing, and like I’m putting my money onit. I wish Ayurveda had a stock, I would invest my money in there.

Ayurveda is the next yoga because they’re sister sciences. They are connected hand-in-hand, and most people are just becoming aware of that. So yoga is a spiritual practice. The word yoga means to yoke, it means to become one with Brahma, universal source of consciousness. Yoga is not a physical practice, yoga is not a fitness trend, yoga is a spiritual practice. The word asana means to sit in stillness. It doesn’t mean physical posture. Why do we do physical postures? Because in those physical postures you exhaust the body so afterwards you can sit in stillness and practice the yoga.

So really when you meditate at the end, that’s your real yoga practice. So yoga, spiritual practice. Ayurveda, the word Ayurveda means the knowledge of life. Ayur-veda, “veda” meaning knowledge, “ayur” meaning life. So Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga, as well as the predecessor. It says you can’t really become enlightened and one with Brahma and leave your body when your digestive system’s out of whack, and you’re anxious, and your back hurts, and your toe’s infected, whatever your issue is. You’re not gonna be able to transcend the physical form when you have all of these mental and physical imbalances.

So Ayurveda is the practice of balancing the mind and the body. So if you are going to yoga class to help you with your anxiety, to help you with your back pain, to help you get more flexible, to help take your mind off stress, whatever it is, you’re actually practicing Ayurveda. So most people don’t know that the reason that they’re actually going to yoga is to practice Ayurveda. And as they learn that, then they’re like, “Oh my god, what else is there to Ayurveda?”

So Ayurveda has solutions for every type of problem. Seriously, every type of problem. From your digestion to your heartbreak to what’s your life purpose, like everything. It is like the freaking panacea of life answers when you really go into it deeply. So Ayurveda shows you that we are all different, we are all unique entities, we’re comprised of the three doshas—vata, pitta, kapha.

Vata being the air element, the space element. It’s like the wind, fast-moving, dry, going from one direction to another, unpredictable. So when you say vata, just think of the air, an airy person, airy fairy. You know, we even say a space cadet, it’s all vata. And in the body it also manifests as air. So air in the body, what does air in the body look like? It looks like bloating, it looks like gas, it looks like burping. And when your colon is dry and cold like the wind and the air, you get constipated.

So Ayurveda teaches us that the physical body is connected to the mental. So when you have a vata imbalance, you feel bloating, gas, constipation but you also feel excess air in the mind. What does excess air in the mind look like? Airy fairy space cadet, so you’re forgetful, you’re maybe anxious. All of the creativity in your mind, the wind in your mind that made you really idealistic and a visionary can also turn into anxiety and insomnia.

So Ayurveda teaches us that these two are connected. So when you work with clients, when you create your retreat center, whatever it is that you want to do, create a healing product, an essential oil, a supplement you’re treating both at the same time. And most people have no idea that constipation is connected to anxiety, is connected to dry skin, it’s connected to cracking bones, it’s connected to dandruff, it’s connected to low libido, and irregular menses, and constipation, and gas, and all of these things, dry tongue, dry eyes they’re all interconnected.

People think, “Oh my god, I have so many issues, I have this issue here, that issue there,” not knowing that it’s all one doshic imbalance. So when you know about Ayurveda, and you tell people that, it is like the ultimate game changer. They’re like, “Holy shit, I never knew all of these things were connected. No one’s ever told me that. Not the endocrinology that saw I have low hormones, not the gastroenterologist that told me I have IBSC, not the therapist that told me I have clinical anxiety, not the osteopath that told me I just have weak bones. No one’s told me all these things were connected.”

Because why? There isn’t one person that’s looking at you from all levels. Your doctor does not ask you really how you feel, they may ask you, “Are you wearing your seatbelt? Are y’all good? Are you depressed? Okay, cool, bye. Next patient.” But what an Ayurvedic practitioner does is they go deep. They ask you what’s going on in all areas of your life. “What’s going on physically, emotionally, spiritually, intuitively? What’s going on at home? What’s going on in your workplace? What’s going on with your family? What’s going on in your relationship?” And now let’s see how does this affect your body, and your health, and your digestion, and your skin, and your thyroid.

Because it’s holistic, you can’t have one without the other. You know, it’s like thinking you can chop off your leg and it’s not going to affect the rest of your body. Of course it is. Everything in the body and in the mind and in the koshas, the layers outside of our body, which I talk about in my book, “Idiot’s Guide to Ayurveda.” They’re all interconnected.

So you, as an Ayurvedic practitioner, when you can connect these dots to people’s lifelong problems, and give them one solution that will address it all, you change their entire life, and there’s no greater feeling than that, and there’s no greater value than you can create than that. People will be willing to pay anything to work with you if you can really get to the root of what their problems are.

So becoming an Ayurvedic practitioner is literally like becoming a magician. You are instantly able to see what people’s doshas are. Like I can just look at someone and I know what their doshas are, and that’s the amazing thing about being trained as an Ayurvedic practitioner, you become kind of psychic. I can tell from the shape of someone’s face what their dosha is, from their facial features, the shape of their eyes, their lips, their nose. With their fingers, the length of their  fingers, all of these things tell me what their dosha is.

And now I walk around I’m like judging everyone’s dosha. But it allows me to just understand people, like I know off the bat what someone’s going to be like just from intuitively looking at them. And doing that, even if you don’t want to be an Ayurvedic practitioner, it will change your business, your relationships, and your life. Like imagine knowing what to expect out of people before they even opened their mouths. So much of the questions and the drama would be just taken out of the picture. You would intuitively know.

And guys, Ayurveda’s not just about the doshas, the doshas are one tiny aspect of it. If you have my book “Idiot’s Guide to Ayurveda” you will see the doshas are one chapter, and the rest are the koshas, and the chakras, and the dhatus, and the gunas, and the subgunas. And there’s so many other qualities and aspects of Ayurveda. So when you become an Ayurvedic practitioner, you’re connected to all of them. You see, oh wow, this person has so much ojas. Ojas is the subtle essence of the kapha dosha. It is when someone looks radiant, when someone has rosy cheeks, and full lips, and they just look healthy and they’re glowing.

You know, people tell me, they’re like, “How do you have such nice skin?” I’m like, “I just have ojas.” They’re like, “What? Ojas? Where do I buy that?” You know, but when you start practicing Ayurveda, you just start practicing every aspect of it, it becomes a part of your life, and from the inside your vibration shifts that like that is the ultimate facelift. Changing your vibration form within will make you a more beautiful person.

Like I have seen what I posted on Instagram what I looked like, I think it was five years ago to now, and people were like, “Holy shit, I’ve heard you talk about it on your podcast, but I didn’t actually believe you, and wow, you looked like a ghost.” Before I didn’t have ojas. I looked like a super vata imbalanced, depleted person. I had no radiance in my eyes, no luster in my eyes, no livingness to my being. You know, right now I’m looking out in the jungle in front of me, and I feel like there’s a jungle inside of me, I feel so alive. But five years ago before I started really practicing I did not have it. So it’s not something that you necessarily are born with or not, it’s something that you can create.  And I’m here to tell you that because I definitely did not have it before.

So you know about ojas, you know about tejas. Tejas is the subtle essence of the pitta dosha, and it is in charge of courage, and energy, and movement. You know, when you look at Durga, the goddess Durga, she has so much tejas to her. She is fierce, she’s a warrioress, she rides her tiger, she takes no shit, she is such an alpha female. And what does she have when you look at her? She has tejas. Someone commented she looks like she has a lot of ojas. I’d say she has more tejas.

So you’re able to put language to things that you’ve never knew existed. And some people have a lot of prana, this is a word that more people have heard of because they talk about it a lot in yoga. Prana is the subtle essence of the vata dosha, and it is breath, it is movement.

When they say pranayama, pranayama is the practice of moving energy through the body. Most people think pranayama means breath work. It actually means the movement of energy, but with breath you move energy. So someone who’s full of prana they’re moving, they’re fluid, they’re able to adapt to change. So it’s like vata, but it’s the subquality of it. So you can be pitta with prana, you can be kapha with tejas. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re only one dosha.

So you know, Ayurveda 101 is just, “Oh, you’re vata, pitta, kapha, and that’s it.” But when you really get into it, there are so many layers to it. And an imbalance one dosha can move another, you know, vata imbalance can create pitta imbalance, which then creates kapha imbalance. So there’s so much depth to this ancient healing science. And when you know it, it like whoo—it’s like this veil of the universe was just lifted and you just got all of the fucking answers.

So being an Ayurvedic practitioner makes you a magician of life. It helps you see patterns in places where there were blocks. It helps you solve puzzles for people. It puts you at the forefront of something that I am telling you and I’m someone who tried to get my parents to invest in Google when I was 12 years old. I was like, “This is going to be the next big thing.” They were like, “What’s Google?” And look, if they had bought the stocks. I’m someone who knew about Bitcoin like seven years ago, and if I had invested, I didn’t have money, I would have been a bajillionaire. So I’m telling you Ayurveda is the next thing.

So become an Ayurveda practitioner, of course you have to feel called to it, but if it feels right to you. Now who is this right for? Who should really become an Ayurveda practitioner? Someone who is torn between being a health and life coach. If you feel like, you know, I want to be a health coach, but I don’t just want to talk about food all the time. I also want to talk about like their life, and their mental health, and their relationships, and all sorts of other areas.

Then you should become an Ayurveda practitioner because an Ayurveda practitioner looks at your health, looks at your food, but also looks at your life. Then you can throw in the mix if you want to talk about essential oils, you want to talk about Ayurvedic crystals, you want to talk about self-care, you want to talk about anything. You can bring that in the mix.

You know, this woman on my “Doshas and Dharma” program, she wants to become a doula, and she’s also interested in Ayurveda. So I said, “Become an Ayurevdic doula.” And what you should do is for these women that you take care of as their doula and you help them bring a baby into this earth, you can prepare for them a food specific for their doshas, you can bring essential oils for them in the birthing process. You can bring all sorts of crystals for them that will help balance their doshas. You can create an environment for them, you know, bring the plants that they need, bring the colors that they need. Make everything Ayurvedic and right for their body, and then when the baby is born you can give the baby an Ayurvedic massage with warming sesame oil and help the baby tap into their earthly body and their senses.

Like guys, if you do this, one: I will hire you. Two: a lot of other people will hire you too. So there is so much business opportunity when it comes to Ayurveda. A lot of people tell me, especially in my “Doshas and Dharma” program, “How do I get out of, you know, this saturated market? I feel like everyone is doing the same thing. How do I stand out?” I’m like throw Ayurveda in there. Like that is how you’ll stand out. Become an Ayurvedic doula, and Ayurvedic essential oil person, an Ayurvedic crystal healer, an Ayurvedic nutritionist, an Ayurvedic anything.

Like look, I’m writing a book on Ayurvedic entrepreneurship. So I’m telling you this cause I’m doing it myself. I’m not—I would never advise you something I’m not doing myself. I’m doing this myself and I’m seeing that it works, and I want you guys to be successful and happy, and I also want the word of Ayurveda to spread. Because it’s changed my life, it’s changed the life of everyone that I’ve ever worked with, and I want more people out there to be teaching it, and sharing about it, and writing books about it, and doing consultations, and creating wellness centers, and leading panchakarmas, and leading retreats, and all of these things.

I want this to be as popular as yoga. Then you know, Yogi Bhajan said that “a true leader creates teachers.” And that’s what I want to do, I want to create more teachers, more crusaders, more people that are going to shift the vibration for other people, and that’s why I believe. If you are in between wanting to be a health and life coach, if you want to create your own retreat center, if you want to stand out in a saturated market, if you want to work with different healing modalities all under one umbrella.

If you want to work with people on their nutrition, make it customized to them. If you want to work with people for specific health issues but understand it for a subtle level. If you want to help people ease into the birthing transition or help children grow up, or help elderly people or anything. Learn about Ayurveda, become an Ayurvedic practitioner. It’s going to help you in anything that you want to do. It’s going to give you a telescope into seeing connections that no one ever sees. Like science is just figuring out that the brain and the gut are connected. Ayurveda figured that one out 5,000 years ago.

So when you learn about Ayurveda, you are keeping an ancient science alive. You are part of this renaissance of Ayurveda, of it coming back to the mainstream and reality. You are changing culture, you are changing the types of restaurants that we can eat at, the type of snacks available to us, the type of workshops we can experience. You are changing that, you are bringing something ancient and old and true and time-tested to the mix.

Like this is not some new age thing that someone made up two seconds ago. Like this is the most ancient science that has existed in the history of time. Ayurveda is the world’s oldest health system, it is what traditional Chinese medicine is based off of, which then went into macrobiotics as it moved to the Silk Road. If you look at chapter one of my book, “Idiot’s Guide to Ayurveda,” I explain the whole history of Ayurveda. Ayurveda was what created the western medical system. It moved eastward in the Silk Road as well as westward, and it moved to Egypt, which then moved to the Roman empire during the battles between Egypt and the Roman empire, and the time of Cleopatra. It then moved up toe Greece, it became material medicas, and that later turned into herbology, which is the experience of using plants as medicine, which is what western medicine is based off of.

So this is something with so much gravitas, so much depth, so much strength and value. And like it literally just makes me want to cry when I think about what a gift it is that we have Ayurveda available to us. Because so many people have been hurt, have lost family members, have felt depression, have felt suicidal, have felt anxious, and Ayurveda has changed their lives. And not just their lives, but their families’ lives because when someone in your family is depressed, or anxious, or suicidal, that changes everything for everyone connected to them and really creates just a massive loss for society.

And if there’s something available to us that could heal that, not only the mental level but the physical level, and the emotional level and the spiritual level, then we need to be talking about this. You know, Gunny the founder of YouVeda, who’s a beloved podcast sponsor, and I interviewed him for the podcast also, you should definitely check it out. He shared his own story about how he came to Ayurveda after losing his brother in a car accident, and his brother was 16 years old. Can you imagine that? Your brother is 16-year-old, like gonna go to college, live his life, and he’s lost in a car accident.

And imagine what a deep dark place that would take you. And he became clinically depressed, he became anxious, and he became just a shadow of who he is. And his father, an Ayurvedic practitioner from India who I just interviewed also, Virender Sodhi. He saw his son, who his son had become, and he said, “Listen, you need to change your diet, you need to take these herbs, you need to practice yoga, you need to practice meditation.”

And of course, Gunny did not want to do these things. He’s so sad, but he did them. And in a month his depression passed and his anxiety went away. But now he created YouVeda, which is an Ayurvedic supplement company that has a specific formula for mood, which I take every day, especially after my adrenal fatigue in December, that’s how I started taking it.And that product now has helped so many other people get out of depression and anxiety.

So this is the type of stuff that Ayurveda can do. And by the way, if you want to try the product, it’s YouVeda, Y-O-U-V-E-D-A.com, YouVeda, and you can use the code “sahara,” and you’ll get 35% off. I take their mood formula and digestive formula every day. But I just share his story with you as an example of how Ayurveda changed his life, took him out of this deep dark place, and then how he said, “Wow, I want to change other people’s lives, too.” And he created the exact formula that helped heal him out of the depression and anxiety, and created an app to go along with that that teaches yoga and meditation, connected with other people like me, and so many more to share this message.

So this is the type of thing that Ayurveda can do, and if you are in a place in your career where you feel unfulfilled, and you feel like everyday is monotonous, and you’re just kind of walking through the tasks, and nothing feels exciting for you. And you know deep down inside that life is not meant to be lived like this, but you don’t have another viable career option. You don’t know how you’re going to pay the bills. You don’t know how you’re going to make things work.

Then I am honestly inviting you to become an Ayurvedic practitioner. Because you can create any career that you want, you can work with people one-on-one, you can work with people on group settings, you can lead retreats, you can create online programs if you have an online business, you can do podcasts like what I’m doing, you could write books, you can do anything—create a product, create a food, create Ayurvedic pastries, create Ayurvedic snacks, create Ayurvedic self-care products, create Ayurvedic oils, essential oils, lipstick, I don’t know, anything you want.

And your life is not meant to work a job you hate. It’s not, you’re supposed to love what you do. And I’m not saying this to sound corny, I’m not saying this to make you feel bad that you don’t love what you do, but I’m saying this a reminder of something that your soil knows deep down inside that you are so worthy of.

I want you to wake up and feel excited about what is to come that day. I want you to put your head on the pillow each night knowing that you did everything in your power to help people, and to help yourself, and to create an abundant life. There is nothing higher that I could want for anyone than this. Because when you become free, and you become healthy, and you become vibrant, that naturally shifts out into the world. And that’s how we believe from these aches, and these pains, and these grievances that we’re experiencing on a global scale, and that’s how people light up and become empowered.

So if you’re interested in becoming an Ayurvedic practitioner, I invite you to go on my website: iamsahararose.com, click on “become an Ayurvedic practitioner,” read all the information there about the two joyful belly programs, the Ayurvedic digestive program, and the Ayurvedic counselor program. They’re totally online, you can be in any country anywhere in the world. There is a lot of live accountability, there are three live calls available each week. If you do the two year program there’s a live clinical which you’ll do, they’ll help you find internships wherever you are. It is truly an outstanding program.

And you can be working full-time and doing it. It’s not something that you have to, you know, quit your job and work on. You can still be working full-time and working towards this. You know, I’m not telling you quit your job and go into the unknown and be broke. I’m not telling you this at all. I’m telling you just begin walking the journey towards your highest self. Just begin taking those steps.

And if you hate what you’re doing, maybe while you’re a student at Joyful Belly, during the day you can go work at a wellness center, or retreat center, a spa, or an Ayurvedic panchakarma center. In the back of my book, “Idiot’s Guide to Ayurveda” in the resources section, I have a list of a lot of the main Ayurvedic centers in the U.S., like all of the main and most established ones. Reach out to them, see I you could work there. But in the meantime, get your certificate so you can become the practitioner yourself.

So you won’t have to work for anyone else, you can be the person that people come to and create your own schedule and become your own boss. And even if you don’t want to be per se an Ayurvedic practitioner, you can use that certificate to create your own retreat center, spa, wellness program, supplement line, whatever it is. Having this education will be the stepping stone for you to do whatever else it is that you want.

So head over to my website, iamsahararose.com, all the information is there. If you have any questions or you want to learn more, I can connect you directly with John.
